MEET WILL BE HELD AT CANADA GAMES PARK/ BROCK UNIVERSITY.
NOTE THAT THE DATE IS *INCORRECT* ON THE AO WEBSITE. THIS MEET IS SATURDAY MAY 4.
This meet is open to athletes from any club/ school teams (high school or elementary). An early opportunity to get in some competition marks.
The meet will provide an early season prep meet or season opener in a variety of track and field events. Events will be OPEN for the most part with heats based on seed times. All jumpers and throwers will receive six attempts.
Events Offered:
TRACK- 100 m, 200 m, 300/400 m, 600 m, 800 m, 1000 m, 1200 m, 2000 m, 300 m
Intermediate Hurdles
Steeplechase* (will depend on equipment availability at the facility... please sign up for wait list and we will confirm if we are able to run the event or not)
FIELD- Javelin, Shot put, Discus, Hammer, Long jump, Triple jump , High Jump
Note that hurdles will be for U14 and older only. This locations tends to be windy and so scissor hurdles for younger ages cannot be used as they will blow over.
9:15 am warm-up time.
Anticipated 10:00 am start. Meet to be concluded by around 4:00 pm with possible exception of hammer throw.
Tentative schedule included in Technical package. Final schedule to be determined based on entry numbers.
