Holy Cow... Trackie is a teenager! That's right we're 13 years old! Some of you were here when it all started and many have joined since then. We thought everyone would enjoy seeing how Trackie has evolved since 2002.
The word "Trackie" originally came from the word "Trekkie". A "Trekkie" is an obsessive fan of Star Trek so in turn a "Trackie" would be an obsessive fan of Track & Field (Right?).
The 1st drawing of Trackie.ca was sketched in early 2002.
The first version of Trackie.ca was launched July 26th, 2002. Check out this short video to see it in action!
We had a fun but useless intro (when intros were cool) which opened with an impersonation of the MGM Intro.

Shortly after the launch of Trackie.ca we started getting requests to design & develop websites. Our web design business now has over 150+ clients located throughout North America and we continue to grow each year.

The intro screen of version 2 would change during different holidays, such as the Christmas elves.

The design of version 2 changed significantly. Although the previous version was fun & colorful it wasn't very efficient for our users.
We again made a fun but useless intro. We called it World War Trackie… You can still view the intro here.
There weren't many changes in the layout for version 2.1. The main change was an added "Chat Tab" which would allow users to chat while browsing.
Along with version 2.1 we launched one of our most successful games to date "Trackie Pro Am". You can still play "Trackie Pro Am" and our other Trackie games here.
The original sketch for version 3.0.
The design of version 3 was similar to the previous version. A lot of little changes were made, making Trackie easier to use and quicker to browse.
TrackieReg was created so Meet Managers could easily set-up online registration for their events. We're currently working on revamping TrackieReg so stay tuned for a new design and lots of new features. You can view the current version of TrackieReg here.
Version 4 was a fairly large re-design and we started to incorporate ads into the website so we could start generating profit. We also added a "Social Network" back-end so Trackies could share photos, videos and keep in touch with other Trackies.
Version 5 was a slight re-design and Trackie finally jumped on the social media train with their Facebook & Twitter pages.
TrackieTV was introduced with the boys of "Monctrack" & Sports Agent Kris Mychasiw in "Double O Kris". We also added our "Follow" section so Trackies could easily read their favourite track & field blogs.

Trackie also launched their latest game "Trackie 400" which saw some great competition across the country. You can play "Trackie 400" and our other games here. Like all our games we gave away some great prizes including a movie sized poster of the top three.
Version 6.0 (current version) was launched in March 2013.
