This 5000m race is also event # 2 on the Run Nova Scotia Timex Series. For more information on the Timex Series please visit: www.runnovascotia.ca. You can win a trip to Toronto to represent Nova Scotia at the National Timex 10k road race championships on September 22, 2012 by competing in 4 of the 7 RNS Timex Series Races.
When registering, please record your estimated finish time so we can group runners together accordingly. We do ask that to participate that you be able to finish a 5000m race in under 30 minutes. This will allow us to group runners of similar abilities together. This will be a time section final and we will have up to 4 heats beginning at 9:00am. Heats will be run slowest to fastest. A final schedule will be available on May 3, 2012.
