About Sonia!
My dear friend Gabriella passed away from melanoma cancer, and stayed at the St. Joseph hospice towards the end of her life. St. Joseph's Hospice provides community based palliative and bereavement care. St. Joseph's Hospice receives 58% of our operating funds from the South West Local Health Integration Network (South West LHIN). They rely on donations from our community to fund the remaining 42% (about $1 million annually) of our operating budget. Support is received through direct donations, fundraising events and community friends like United Way, London & Middlesex.
