Hmmmm... possibly. I suspect it will be close... conditions will definitely play a factor. If McCulloch, Macdonald, Konstantonopolus (sorry if I butchered the spelling of that name) and the Ghazarian sisters are all in good form and health at OFSAA, the record could certainly be in jeopardy!

Doesn't matter - Brogan will smash it next year.

this comment doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Are you suggesting that breaking OFSAA records doesn't matter because they can be easily broken the next year? Isn't that the wrong kind of mindset?? This isn't Ofsaa 2018 predictions.

What about other events? HJ, LJ, TJ, PV. LJ competition should be good. I'm hoping that some high jumpers may do well too.

Brianna is fast. She may just win the 100 and 200 (albeit, it won't be easy), however there are no midget girls currently running close to record times in the 100/200/400 so it would be a stretch to think that she will, although given the right conditions, who knows.

    Not so fast.
Chau ran Rowland's in 9:33 looking relaxed and in control the entire race.
Chau can run 9:15 with the right competition this year. So Brogan will have a fight on her hands. Chau is a very smart runner. She just sits until she realizes you are tired, and then she attacks like a Praying Mantis. By the time her opponent realizes it's too late. In order for Chau to lose the race would have to go out in sub 6:15 pace for the first 2k. I've watched her run enough times. She runs the first 2k at a relaxed 6:25-6:30 and then hammers out a 3:00-3:05. You take it out too relaxed against this girl and she just blows you away the final km.
