Lancers runner Paul Janikowski hopes to regain his stride

The University of Windsor Lancers hope Paul Janikowski is back in form.
The 21-year-old Villanova high school graduate was an All-Canadian cross-country runner in 2011 for the Lancers, but missed much of last season with a stress fracture.
"It was frustrating being out "It was frustrating being out frustrating being out for so long," said Janikowski, who only competed in one race a year ago.
"I wanted to get back faster and it's so hard to be patient."
He has been strong this fall and hopes to carry that into Saturday's OUA cross-country championships, which will be hosted by McMaster University in Hamilton.
"It's been a long time from where I've been fit to run and I'm excited," Janikowski said.
