The Steveston Judo Club cordially invites Judokas to participate in the Steveston Judo Tournament – which includes adult divisions up to blue belt (2 kyu). This year will also include U18 National A Level division, that will allow athlete to achieve points toward selection for the 2022 Elite National Championships. Yellow belt is the minimum rank for all divisions – no white or white/yellow belts will be allowed to compete. Except for the U18 division, this is a development tournament to encourage as many judokas as possible yellow belt and above to participate.

Proof of Vaccinations & Covid-19 Protocols, as per Judo Canada & Judo BC requirements.

For athlete participants:

1) All athlete participants 12 years of age and older must submit proof of full vaccination at the official weigh in.
2) All athlete participants must submit a written Corona virus declaration in the approved form, signed, and in the case of minors, signed by the participant’s parent or legal guardian – see attached. Please bring a paper copy to the weigh in/check in.
3) Wear a mask at all times, except when warming up and competing.

For all other participants (including but not limited to referees, coaches, organizers, volunteers, medical team, etc.)

1) All other participants must submit a written Corona virus declaration in the approved form, signed, and in the case of minors, signed by the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
2) Wear a mask at all times, and maintain a 2m distance

Note: These requirements apply in addition to any provincial public health measures already in place.
