BECOMING PARA READY FOR COACHES

*Do you want to create an inclusive and accessible training environment where everyone is welcome?
*Are you wanting to start your journey to learning more about coaching athletes with a disability but don’t know where to start?
Para athletics, also known as track and field, is the largest competition at the Paralympic Games. Events are available for athletes with physical Impairments, both seated and standing, athletes with vision impairments, as well as athletes with an intellectual impairment.
Join coaches Anne-Marie Fortin, and John Lofranco, Para Development Manager Fannie Smith, and athlete Lee Leclerc as they share their knowledge and experience of working with athletes in para athletics. This interactive course will offer tools and resources to help coaching athletes with a disability.
