This in-person workshop is modules #6-8 of the Athletics Club Coach Course for Sprints & Hurdles. It is designed for coaches who work with athletes over the age of 15 in the sprinting and hurdling events. It falls into the NCCP Competition Pathway.
For modules #1-4 of the Athletics Club Coach Course for Sprints & Hurdles, coaches should take the online Foundations of Coaching Course prior to attending this workshop.
In addition to learning advanced technical progressions, coaches will also learn age-appropriate strength training and how to put together a seasonal plan - all specific to the sprints & hurdles event group.
NOTE: Because this in-person workshop is being held on campus at the University of Lethbridge, all COVID protocols established by the University of Lethbridge will be followed.
