Coaches are exposed to all the event groups. Coaches will be guided on proper safety requirements and concerns for all events, technical progression of events, and seasonal planning. This NCCP accredited course aligns with the Ontario Physical Education Safety Guidelines and with the Long Term Athletic Development Model and the principals for Train to Train.

Coaches will leave trained in all events. Each learning module is designed to meet the needs of coaches who are providing direct instruction or event assistance to student-athletes in a junior high and high school track and field program.

1. Run (hurdles/sprints, and Endurance),

2. Jump (High Jump, Triple jump, Long Jump)

3. Throw (Javelin, Discus, Shot Put)

Saturday and Sunday Dec 15-16 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Fees:

By December 10 at noon: $200 ($250 for non-members)

By December 13 at noon: $225 for AO members, ($275 for non-members)

Printed NCCP manuals are included in the course fees.

The course may be cancelled if there are an insufficient number of participants are registered. Notification will be given on December 11 if this is the case and participants will be given a full refund.
