2015 Snow and Ice In Paradise 5K Race

The Paradise Running Club is hosting a 5K Race on Saturday, February 21st during “Snow and Ice in Paradise”.

There’s nothing like some outdoor exercise on a cool winter day to get your heart pumping and stay committed to your New Year’s resolutions.

The race will start at the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre on McNamara Drive at 9:00am and will be followed by an awards ceremony complete with refreshments and draw prizes.

All proceeds raised will go to support the Canadian Tire Jump Start Program in Paradise. This program gets kids in the game by assisting with the costs associated with registration, equipment and/or transportation for sports and physical activity programming. We also lend support to unique initiatives aimed at increasing access to sports and physical activity programming. There are hundreds of children that are in need of your help. Our goal is to collect $1000 to reach out to as many children possible.
