The Judo Saskatchewan Kata Committee is excited to announce the annual 2-day Kata Workshop with Sandra Hewson & Christian Royer.
The goal of the weekend is to have fun learning how to incorporate kata teaching into our clubs.
Sandra brings a wealth of knowledge to the sport in how to train the next generation with
Kata. She has given excellent input into the IJF Kata Educative Project

Sandra has competed in both Kata and Shiai world championships 2013 winning gold in
shiai. She is an active NCCP Comp Dev coach and instructor and nationally certified kata
judge in all 5 kata.
Christian is the current chair of the Judo Canada tournament committee, active NCCP Dojo
Instructor, nationally certified kata judge in all 5 kata & Sandra’s ever helpful demonstration partner.
WHO:
~For judoka with basic to intermediate knowledge of Nage No Kata & Ju No Kata
~For 13 years of age & older, yellow belt & up Members of Judo Sask/Judo Canada
