Volunteer
If you are able to provide a friend or family member as a volunteer on the day of the event please let us know. There are a number of positions available; Traffic Control; Sweep Cyclists and Water Station attendants. Those under 16 years of age are welcome to sign up to help out at a water station.
Other Information
The 15km Fun Run is Race #5 of the Interior Running Association's IRA Road Series and is also one of 13 events included in the Runner's Sole Kamloops Run Series. It is suitable for all levels of runners, from flower smelling newbies to achy-kneed veterans... from trudging turtles to galloping gazelles.
The 3km Fun Run is purely recreational. It's a great run for families and our volunteers will ensure it's safe for young speedsters to head up front on their own. You can use this event to dip your feet into one of the two competitive events and numerous social runs hosted annually by the Kamloops Ridge Runners. Alternatively you may wish to come out and just spend an awesome, and more often than not, SUNNY spring morning taking in the sights of the Barnhartvale community.
Both Fun Runs take place on a rolling but scenic course through semi-urban and rural Barnhartvale, starting and finishing at RL Clemitson Elementary School.
A Kamloops Paddlewheelers Lions Club PANCAKE BREAKFAST is included in your registration and the Blackwell Dairy Family will be waiting for you at the Finish Line with their Ice Cream Truck to hand out Post-Run CHOCOLATE MILK & ICE CREAM to all participants.
Bib pick-up and late registrations:
On-Line Registrations will be available until 6:00am Saturday Morning. "In-person registration and run bibs can be picked up on Saturday May 25th from 1:30 to 3:30pm at Cool Runnings; 351 Victoria St Downtown Kamloops.
Race day bib pick-up will be available at the venue from 7:30 to 8:45am.
Late registrations will be available at the venue on Sunday morning until 8:30am (SHARP) for an additional $10 fee.
