Do you or someone you know have a disability or impairment? Did you know that individuals with physical, vision and intellectual impairments can participate in para athletics? Para athletics offers a wide range of events, including track events (100m – 5km), road races (10km – marathon), jumping events (high jump & long jump), and throwing events (shot put, discus, javelin, and club throw). At the Try It session current athletes, coaches, and representatives from the various disability and sport organizations will be there to welcome you, help you discover the sport and answer any questions you may have. No experience is necessary, and all equipment will be provided.

As per the recent announcement from Athletics Ontario (AO), attendees of the Para Summit must provide proof of full vaccination in order to attend. Those with legitimate medical exemptions are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result from within 72 hours prior to the start of the event.
