This clinic is for high performance athletes that would like to grade for their black belt via the Judo Canada competitive stream. Grading candidates in this stream can only gain points by competing at national level events such as Quebec Open, Ontario Open, Pacific Intnernational, Edmonton International, Sask Open, Elite Nationals and Open Nationals. Candidates who would like to grade at this clinic must be pre approved by Judo Canada 45 days (July 6) before this clinic by applying here - https://judocanada.org/competitive-stream/. For more information about the competitive stream grading please see the Judo Canada Yudansha grading syllabus - https://www.judocanada.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/National-Grading-Syllabus-1-January-2021-EN-1.pdf.

Not ready to grade yet but planning on grading via the competitive stream? You are welcome to sign up for this clinic if you are a blue, brown or black belt. If you are not a high performance athlete competing at the national level this clinic isn't for you. There will be kata clinics for non high performance athletes offered throughout the 2022-23 season along with grading clinics in December and June.
