Please join us in the days leading up to the 2023 Pacific International Judo Tournament to improve your kata and/or to become a Judo Canada certified evaluator in Nage no kata and/or Katame no kata. These events are being presented by Judo Canada hosted by the Judo BC Competitive Kata committee and Abbotsford Judo Club. The presenters are Mohamed Hassani, Chair of the Judo Canada Competitive Kata Committee, IJF certified kata judge and international kata competitor, and Gerald Poirier, member of the Judo Canada Competitive Kata committee, IJF certified kata judge and international kata competitor.

Minimum Rank: Ikkyu (brown belt)

Wed, January 25th
8 am to 12 noon - Nage no kata judges course
12 to 1 pm - Lunch (bring your own)
1 to 2 pm - Nage no kata judge course continued
2 to 3 pm - Katame no kata judges course

Thurs, January 26th
8 am to 12 noon - Katame no kata judges course continued
12 to 2 pm - Lunch (bring your own) & study
2 to 3 pm - Written judges exams

Fri, January 27th
8 am to 12 noon - Juno & Itsutsu no kata clinic
12 to 1 pm - Lunch (bring your own)
1 to 3 pm - Juno & Itsutsu no kata clinic continued

6 to 8 pm - Pacific International Judges meeting
