2021 Riversdale Athletics Club Cross Country

***REGISTRATION IS ONLY REQUIRED FOR NEW REGISTRANTS and 2021 SUMMER CAMP PARTICIPANTS** -

THOSE WHO REGISTERED FOR FULL 2021 SPRING & SUMMER TRAINING DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER FOR CROSS COUNTRY.

Cross Country (ages 9 - 99 years of age as of Dec. 31, 2021)

Training days & times: Monday/Wednesday/Friday (14 yrs and older only on Fridays) 4:30 - 6:15pm

some Saturday mornings for 14 yrs and older

Dates: August 30 to Oct. 23 (those competing in the National Championships will continue training until Nov. 28)

Cost: $100 (if the athlete registers for indoor training, the $100 cross country fee will be refunded)

Sask Athletics membership: will need to purchase a recreational membership ($2) Will be done at practice.

The Cross Country group trains at various venues (i.e., Diefenbaker Park, Victoria Park, Lakewood Park, Earnest Lindner Park, Eagle Ridge) throughout the city to prepare for the different cross country courses that the athletes will be competing on. Details and organization of the athletes for local, provincial and national competitions will be offered. A general Venue Plan and Information Document will be sent to all involved and the weekly details of training will be communicated to the athletes by email each week.
