No problem at all with CBC or IAAF Athletics TV so far. Good video and audio. Link 3 is still pics from Facebook.

No luck with the link either.

Outstanding to see Grace Featherstonhaugh qualify for the Steeplechase final!!! It looks like she will be our only athlete in Day 1 to move on.

I don't care what the discriminatory IAAF rules state, Maeliss Trapeau, although forced to compete for France, will always be Canadian in my books.

If you are using an App, location services needs to be turned on so they know you are in Canada. You also need Chrome 49+

Ad blockers will also render that message.

I had similar issues with TSN trying to stream the World Cup.

Gutsy performance as always from Taryn . . . PB-ed by more than 9 seconds.
    Eliopoulos for the Bronze.

Both Misener-Daley and Stewart-Baynes are into the final of the 400m! Ashlan Best finishes 8th in the 400m final, she ran very well in the semi finals, looked like she went out a little too hard in the finals, nevertheless great running. Onto the 200 for her, she will do better there than in the 400m

Eliopoulos went down injured, was a bit sluggish off the start but went over the first hurdle well, second hurdle he looked like his trail leg hamstring blew up on him. Hope he recovers soon, gutted for him

Thanks for this - can you provide more info or a link to where you saw this?

The implement can hit the cage all it wants without it being a foul (unless the rules have changed without my knowledge). Maybe a foot foul for which video was brought forward?

Upon further review, you are correct, it was a foot foul https://goheels.com/news/2018/7/12/track-field-shippee-advances-to-final-in-13th-at-iaaf-world-u20-championships.aspx

this track is fast! its not that far fetched to see it. they got some pretty hard lane draws, but anything is possible

Unfortunately you can see the foot foul in the video and she seems to know it happened by the look on her face. Big mistake in officialling.

    Ask her coach.

Maybe she's saving herself for those big Usports XC races in September.
