I agree in the past this live feed has been free. Many parents and interested parties can not make the trip to ofsaa so a live feed would have been great. If runners space is charging for this live fee I hope they are paying a large sponsorship fee to ofsaa and the organizers.

still have to throw down a credit card and how many kids are going to do that? Very few. Aren’t we trying to grow this sport?

Would you prefer not to have a stream at all? Things cost money so you need to find "someone" who is willing to pay for it. Whether it's OFSAA, Athletics Canada, Runnerspace or more likely the PEOPLE who want to actually watch it... It's free - just cancel the service after the Championships. It's a small price to pay to just have to enter credit card details with absolute zero payment.

I think you’re missing the point. Easy for you to say you clearly have a card to throw down. There is no cost as you said so don’t know what you mean by ‘things cost money’. This is a roadblock that we’ve never experienced in previous years that’s all. Maybe a minor one but it’s enough to turn young viewers away.

So let me get this straight, you have to enter credit card info, but you won't get charged, so you can watch something that's been free for years?

That doesn't seem weird to you?

To be honest I don't even want to watch it, I just wanted to rip on the announcers. That's what I look forward to the most.

Track isn’t worth paying for. Got it.

Also though, what the hell is Runnerspace? I don’t think you could make a more poorly designed website if you wanted to. Unless you are a programmer or something it makes zero sense.

How about some comments about today! Again OFSAA proves that its reputation as the second best meet in the world. ( a few points below the Olympics) is deserved. Misner-Daley-just incredible. And Hassan at 46.8 for 2nd! wow. That suggests he could run 1:47-48 if he goes for it tomorrow. Great 1500ms. Nothing in the record range but all 6 races hotly contested, with great last laps. Weather has been perfect. Lets see what tomorrow brings!

Has there ever been a team of 4 people that did what Campion did this weekend? Same 4 senior boys won the 4X400m and the 4X100m relays. Pretty neat accomplishment!
