"So it'll be a race between Witkowicz and Kemp then?"

Thomas isn't racing. This spot should be open to another runner who is capable of sub 9:00 and has shown that they are in this kind of shape in the last several months. I.e. Running Indoor 2000m in 5:50ish, running 3000m in sub 9:00.

The winner of this race will be between Desouza, Kedir, and Mota, with Zelek, Kemp, in the mix too. The winner will run around 8:30.

    Why isn't Thomas racing?

    Kedir is running well.

On the website it says that RSVP's were due April 6th.
It has been almost 2 weeks since that date.
There are 3 males runners who have not confirmed whether they are competing and 12 females, many of the females not confirming being from Toronto which is quite strange.

    http://neiltrackandxc.com/rowland-games/

    So the questions are:
    1. When will this list be updated?
    2. Who are the other runners replacing these athletes who have also been invited to compete?
    3. If Kemp does not confirm he is racing, who will win the Boys race? My bet is still Desouza Kedir or Mota. Originally I had Kemp in my Top 5 with Zelek, but after seeing his performance in California, he would be the clear favorite to win.

    1. Hmmm good question
    2. They don't need to replace them do They? Seems to me the girls line up is always significantly smaller.
    3. If Kemp doesn't race then Witkowicz might win it.

This is a really good race for athletes in grade 11 and under. The 12's that are locked up for next year have zero to prove by running this.

You're overlooking Lee if he decides to race it.

The girls race should get some attention as well.

According to the milesplit time converter, Marcus Kemp's 3200 is equivalent to an 8:14 3000 so if he's running I doubt anyone will beat him

Hoping the weather plays nice because if conditions are suitable, no doubt we will see a Canadian Interscholastic record in the Women's 3000m!!!!

Tommy Wictowitz will win the whole thing and possibly break the record.

You should look at the confirmed list before you drop anymore really funny stuff.

Mens / Women 3000 open is missing some big names so it's anyone's race now. No favorites that I can see.

Women's 3k has the only person that matters. The one that has graciously rewritten the record book the last 3 years. Unfortunate that we cannot get her a pace setter, because without a doubt the national interscholastic record will go down!

Don't sleep on Ethan Loucks. He's the underdog going in but he's got maniac speed on the last 200m in his previous races this season. Trains with the same club that Isaiah Frielink trained with and we all know that no one expected him to drop a 8:27 at this meet last year.

It won't be. There's no interest this year.

What's the expected time difference between Saturday and the first weekend in July (Ottawa) for your athletes?
