Why is Ken Porter’s name shown as a parsonage coach for a member of the Pan Am U20 400m hurdler? Is he not suspended?

He is. Major error on AC's part here. Coach should be listed as Normand Seguin.

No Abdullahi Hassan....? Seems fishy to me. I can’t see him not wanting to go on this one. Anyone know what happened there?

Why isn't Abdullahi Hassan selected for the Pan Am U20 for the 800m? His time would have definitely qualified for it.

He’s listed under the U18 800m. The bigger question seems to be why he was selected for the U18 and not the U20 based on his time.

Abdullahi Hassan, Matt Larkin, and Olivier Desmeules all have quicker times than the selected 800m runner Alex Larochelle. Hassan and Larkin are both on the U18 team but Desmeules is not on any team at all.

Which ones would those be? Except for the bias towards track over field (the standards in the field are ridiculous in most events and the athlete would podium or win if making the team) the team looks decent.

Is there a rule stating that if an athlete makes the U18 team they can't run for the U20 team? The dates aren't conflicting so why wouldn't they select the faster U18 athletes (for the 800m)?

This is typical of AC. May he a policy thing I think

Been many cases of better athletes in the U18 with the standard for U20

Why is El-Sandali on this team when according to his Instagram (where he said he won't be racing until cross-country) he has no plans on actually racing?
