No chance. Andrew takes the easy 1k win. Don’t play yourself winger

"Doesn't change the fact that AP is the only male AUS athlete who is undefeated in head-to-head competition against the rest of the conference."

The only times that AP has beaten Rawlings this year is when he is off a double. The 3k that was referenced not only was Rawlings pacing a teammate for the first half but 15 minutes before gave Mike Tate a run in the 1k. Also the 1500 at the CGC the next weekend was after Rawlings soloed a 8:16 the night before. If he is in the 3k not a chance AP touches him.

If im correct i think there is more who are undefeated than AP, lets talk about Vanderpoel. Now there is someone in the AUS who is undefeated and is a medal contender at usports. unlike AP

I think Rawling is definitely going to be a medal contender at usports as well. He is ranked higher in the 3000 than Mike is in the 300. I hope they can both bring home a medal in their events because that would be huge for the AUS

I think Rawling deserves more credit than he gets. His 8:08 3000 was pretty special.

Actually, it's by FAR the weakest. As of this year, it's CanWest>OUA>RESQ>AUS

Ah yes - every time I lose a race I am also pacing my teammates.

If you look at the top 12 through all 17 mens events (including relays), CanWest has 82 people/teams ranked in the top 12 compared to OUA's 91. That's not to say that the OUA is necessarily better, but strictly going by the rankings they certainly aren't worse than CanWest. RSEQ has 25 while the AUS only has 6 people ranked in the top 12 on the mens side.

Overall I agree with your statement that the AUS is the weakest, but it should be interesting to see which conference comes out on top at USport!

Neither Andrew or Angus are registered in the 3000m, is it true neither of them are running it?

I suppose that must be true then.

I think we can all agree that overall U-Sport is looking a lot weaker than other years. Usually the athlete turnover doesn't hit every event but it looks like a lot weaker especially on the mens side.

Men: 45 Athletes With Standard (10 Track, 9 Relay, 26 Field)
    - Standouts: 7 High Jumpers & 8 Polevaulters
    - Disappointments: 1k & 1500 no standards
Women: 61 With Standard (30 Track, 7 Relay, 24 Field)
    - Standouts: 7 polevaulters, 600-3k all have 5 standards
    - disappointments: no teams with standard in 4x200
