All the HS kids that were part of the 100x1mile world best relay we set at York University back in the winter of '98. There were a few of them on that list.

Does anyone know where a copy of that list exists online? I've got my poster, but can only find the list of records online:

Sorry to derail, but didn't George Aitken have a record of that event that could be scanned?

As well, thanks for that "mass relay records" link. This one is pretty cool...and darn impressive:

100 miles (10 runners): Lockport High School, Lockport, New York (USA) 7:27:55.6 hours (16 June 1968)

    That's ~4:29 per mile x 10 for 10 runners!

I guess I misunderstood the format. Here is the way it went down:

Eight high school students from Lockport High School, Lockport, New York (USA) ran 100 miles in a relay in 7:27:55.6 hours on 16 June 1968, in Lockport, New York (USA). Each student ran 12 1/2 miles, accumulated in spurts over 100 yards, 220 yards and 440 yards. The participants of the relay were Jim Rycyna, Charlie Quagliana, Bob Brown, Brian Brooks, Jeff Hulshoff, Frank Pfeil, George Bickford and Jeff Watkins. This record category is open for relays of up to ten runners.
