Could Harbour Track Have Beaten UWAC If...

At monday's DMR race Hamilton and Windsor were even through the first two legs. Where Hamilton lost it was in the 800 leg (Bellemore vs. IDK) with the Windsor miler (Falk) getting about 60m worth of lead and holding off Harbour's miler (Sergio), who ended up making up some ground after a 60 flat first lap.
With Harbour's Tweedle being out with a stress fracture, you have to think that with a healthy version of him in the 800 leg, Harbour could have made it a closer race.
Is a fresh Tweedle faster than a Bellemore who ran a 1,500 earlier? Could Harbour have taken down that Windsor team?

The splits were around 3:17, 53, 1:47, 4:14 for Wac City
    3:20, 50, 1:56, 4:20 for Harbour.

If Sergio was closer to Falk to start the leg he may have ran a faster mile, but a 1:47 an hour after a 3:43 is gross. I think Uwac still wins.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a closing combo like Bellemore and Falk, even on the teams you mentioned. That said, a Tweedle/Sergio closing couple of legs would be gritty and not something to bet against. I think the key to all of this isnt the 8 though, it's the 12.
And if those guys want to come out next year, I'm game. Same time, same place!

Thanks for the splits! (And big thanks for calling both races, appreciate it!)
