If not Dakota Goguen or Joe Fast, my money is on an 11 grader, probably Eric Campbell.

I’ve got touhy in a tough race for second, Bolings pole vault strength come into play in the kick but touhy has got the racewalking back ground. Joe fast is in a league of his own, coming of the recent 100m debut and the world best 100 mile both run in a blistering 10.14

Hayley Fraser, gold in novice/midget. She’s killing it this year.

Anna Workman for the win in SG. She's insane.

Samara Quanz, Emily Bryce, and Abbey Yuhasz will give her a run for the money though.

Not for the win, but Chloe Thomas is someone to look out for in senior girls. Only started track this spring and ran 4:37 for her 2nd-ever 1500m. I'd put money on a top-10 finish for her as well

SG: Cassandra Williamson will definitely have chances to place in the top three. She’s placed 3rd last year out of the grade 11’s and 10th overall

What the Hell,! Maybe everyone runs their own route with their GPS on and the winning pace for 4,5 and 6 km win,
No Fascilities! Does anyone realize that it could snow and stay by October in Sudbury, who the F okayed this? Atleast the University has places for people to warm up and get in out of the possible -10 to -20 degree temperatures that are possible!
On the bright side, they didn’t say that the fantastic T-shirt’s were going to be pee yellow for the winners like last year.

If it wasn’t so important to the kids, that don’t belong to a club, I would take a hard pass on this race. It seems more like a money grab than an important development race for high schoolers anymore. I am interested in where this money goes and how it is used? 6 races of approximately 300 is $18000 at preOfssa and then again at Ofssa is about $36000. That is without the merchandise! So roughly $50000 generated for a poor venue, difficult transportation and accommodation as well as what could be a very inhospitable day (snow/-10)!

If I was a grade 12 girl I would be pretty worried about the depth and quality of the grade 11 girls moving up to senior! I predict that there will be more grade 11 girls in the top 20 at Ofssa than grade 12 or 12B ladies. Just a few of the names to watch out for are Bryce, Couttes x2, Ylipikala, Louki, Knelsen, Pegg, Strain, Turcotte, Bartolomucci, Keeler, Frielink and probably 2 or 3 others from the Sudbury area with a home field advantage. Look out!
