    🤦

The poster said that Guelph's only middle-distance medal came in the 4x800m.
If you want to make a strong argument against Guelph's middle-distance program you'll have to look across all middle-distance events, not just the ones that support your case.

Very young middle distance team and a very burnt out senior long distance team from cross from what it looks like. With their depth of talent pool, they'll probably bounce back by next year in the middle distance scene again.

This is also one side of the coin, take a look at their women's team and they completely dominated 600m, 1000m and 4x8 had pretty solid performances in the 1500m and 3000m

Weird that I need to explain this to DST himself ;)

The Men's middle distance seems to have a shift with Sasha, Corey, and now Land leaving the thrones open. Stephen Evans was the only returning athlete to the Men's 600m finals and for the mens 1k only 4 returned to the top 12 (Craig Klomp, Andrew Peverill, Mostafa Elkurdy, and Hudson Grimshaw) all who placed 8th through 12th this year. Not sure if Andrew LeBlanc will be returning next year but will interesting to see if Guelph will produce a stud like Tommy Land again. (Same with UofT and Windsor)
