"So AC is supposed to send personalized emails or phone calls to thousands of members like a boiler room call center?
What is a survey but a more efficient method of collecting all that data?
(And wouldn't waiting for AC to email or call you be the definition of being unengaged?)"
Dear Club Administrator/Head Coach,
In an effort to provide an Indoor National Championships that is meaningful to our clubs & athletes we would like your help.
Can you please tell us why you do/do not attend the current event held in Montreal in February.
If you do attend, what did you like? What could we do to improve your experience?
If you do not attend, what are the reasons? Is there anything that we could change that would entice your club to participate.
Your input is invaluable to helping us create an event that serves the needs of all our clubs & athletes.
Thank you for your time.
BCC all club contacts across the country. Attach a survey if you want to contain the responses for easier analysis. Casts a wider net than sending a survey to the people who are already attending. Quote comment

Why doesn't AC hold the championships in Winnipeg that way the western Provinces would attend. Unfortunately as is stands right now it is just a watered down eastern Canadian Championship. Another thought going back to when Oldster and I started, why don't we have dual or tri-meets against other countries with the first 2 at the AC Champs representing us. This would entice a lot more participation. I agree with all the comments regarding timing.Quote comment
