  West Toronto Collegiate Institute. It's a closed down school, and the track is asphalt, but I'm pretty sure it's just because they never put the rubber surface on it. I've been there before and there isn't anything obviously wrong about the shape of it.

  Props to this guy. Not only for the performances, but also for representing independent Ontario brewers. Muskoka Craft Lager in his last attempt and now Amsterdam Natural Blonde. Both highly crushable beers. See? Micro brews don't have to make you pucker.

  I strongly agree with representing independent brewers (especially local ones), but that's not the whole story. It's a struggle to find bottles for beer miles in Ontario because they need to be 355ml. The vast majority of bottles are 341ml, and the only ones I know of which are 355ml are the Amsterdam beers (any others that people know of?). Muskoka used to be, but a new bottle design rolling out to stores in the last couple weeks is now 341ml across the board! That being said, Muskoka beers are still some of my favourites available near where I live.

  Thanks everyone. Yeah I'll second what Jeff is saying about the beers. For some reason the industry standard for bottles in Ontario is 341mL while it is 355mL almost everywhere else in the world. Forces us to use independent microbrews, which is great because we can get them some well deserved attention.

  Just save some of the old 355mLs and re-bottle with home brew. Ideally, you would also skip priming to reduce/eliminate carbonation. #science

  Much like gasoline is normalized to 15C, I feel beer should be normalized to fermentation temperature. So a really chilly 341mL lager = 355 standard mL. QED.
