If you have training or have assisted at a particular event area in the past, please let us know! We would love to give you a job you are already familiar with if we are able, but please note, our priority is to make sure events are properly staffed at all times, and will place you where we need you.
If you are a brand new volunteer and have never helped before, that's ok too! We will absolutely provide training so that you are comfortable with your responsibilities for the weekend.
Different roles include:
Vertical jumps - bar height and standard adjusters, live results data entry
Horizontal jumps - rakers, measurers, fault board video, live results data entry
Throws - tape pullers, measurers, implement retrievers, live results data entry
Track - finish line assistants, oval umpires, crowd control
Meet Schedule:
Thursday: First event starts at 1:00pm, last event starts at 9:00pm
Friday: First event Starts at 1:00pm, last event starts at 8:30pm
Saturday: First event starts at 12:30pm, last event starts at 4:00pm
Our volunteer shifts are as follows:
Thursday/Friday:
12pm-3pm
3pm-6pm
6pm-9pm
Saturday:
11am-2pm
2pm-4:30pm
Clean-up post meet
*Volunteers with a wider range of availability will be prioritized based on event needs and schedule (i.e. if an event starts during one shift and runs through another, those with availability for multiple shifts will be prioritized due to needing volunteers at an event for the entire duration of that event).
