This August, We will be taking a team to Vancouver Island to attend the Judo BC Summer camp.
This camp will focus on Judo training, fitness training and strength & conditioning to get us ready for the upcoming competition season. This event is highly recommended for athletes with goals of attending Youth Provincials, BC Winter Games, and Nationals this year.
Dates - August 18 to 21
Location - Brentwood College, Mill Bay, BC
Belt Level:
Orange belt minimum for U14 (2010, 2011)
Green belt or higher for U16 (2008, 2009)
Green belt or higher for U18 +
Approx. Cost - $400 (includes meals, rooms and bus transportation on the island)
Transportation:
We will be taking the Ferry across together as a group. A bus will pick everyone up and take us to and from camp.
We will be applying for the Via Sport Travel grant which would cover everyones Walk-on Ferry cost.
Once we have numbers, we can apply for the grant. We will send out the camp registration as soon as it opens.
