In addition to the Riversdale Club Fees, Hub city fee, and a fundraising fee, all members must become Sask Athletics members. Here is the link to register for Sask Athletics/Athletics Canada. This membership will not be open by Sask Athletics until sometime in September, 2025. You will receive a link and an email when to purchase this membership, which is required to train and compete.
Additional Fees:
Athletics Canada/Sask Athletics: U12 - $65; U14 - $75; U16 - $90; U18, U20, Senior, Masters - $105
Hub City Fee - $20/person (applies to all members of Saskatoon track clubs; covers equipment and other facility costs). Full season registrants only.
Fundraising Fee - $200/family; $100 out of town members; These fees can be earned back through fundraising opportunities.
Added Value Options:
Seminars - (i.e., strength training, mental skills, nutrition, sleep and recovery, concussion management, water running) will be offered throughout the year to members - no charge
Strength Training Program - offered through Craven Sport Services
Riversdale supervised group sessions with qualified strength & conditioning coach
Once or Twice per week: Mon/Wed; - out of town athletes can arrange 1/month training with the group
Fees will be based on the numbers interested- U16 and older
Junior Development Program
(born 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) (2017 accepted on an individual basis). Ages are determined as of Dec. 31, 2026
General Information:
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays - participants can choose one or both days
Events: participants will be exposed to proper technique and developmentally appropriate training in: sprints, mid-distance, hurdles, jumps, throws
Jr. Dev. participants can choose cross country or base training (early conditioning, technique), or combine 1 day of each in the fall.
Cross Country option: Mon & Wed (or choose 1 day) Sept. 3 – Oct. 18, 2025.
Registration Options – full season or 1 or more sessions (i.e., fall, winter, spring)
Full Season
Dates: Sept. 3 (cross country strart) OR Sept 30, 2025 (base training start) through to June 25, 2026
Club Fees: $325 once per week; $570 twice per week
Fall Session Only (held at outdoor parks)
Dates: Sept. 3 (cross country) OR Sept. 30 (base training) to Dec. 17, 2025
Times: Tues/Thurs 4:30 – 6:00pm for base training; Mon/Wed 4:30 – 6:00pm for cross country. For both groups, training moves indoors (Saskatoon Fieldhouse) on Nov. 4 and time changes to 5:00 – 6:30pm
Club Fees: $175 once per week; $275 twice per week
