Bingo Fundraising Opt-out

Our club receives significant funding from Branch 96 of the Royal Canadian Legion in exchange for providing volunteers for the Sunday night Bingos hosted at the Legion. Each family is expected to volunteer a minimum of once per year at Bingo, or a $200 fee will be levied in place of this volunteer commitment. The opportunity to sign up for Bingo is published via a monthly calendar on the Team Facebook page, for which a link is provided upon sign up. You can also contact the Bingo coordinator directly to sign up.
This fee may be paid if you are unable to meet your Bingo commitment.

Fundraising Commitment
I understand that as part of belonging to Brockville Legion Track and Field, each member family is expected to participate in fundraising by completing a Bingo at Branch 96 of the Royal Canadian Legion, 180 Park St, Brockville. These take place on Sunday evenings from 4pm-8:30pm. Sign-ups for these events are made available regularly through the Bingo Coordinator. Any athletes/families who does not participate in Bingo will be billed $200, payable in Dec of the registration year. An opt-out from the Bingo commitment is made available as part of registration, with $200 payable at time of registration.
Refund Policy
I am aware that once registration has been submitted, no refunds will be given at any time and for any reason. If I choose to stop participation in the program or to not finish out my membership this will result in forfeiting all fees paid. This includes if I am unable to attend practice due to other activities or sports, including but not limited to school sports or other team sports, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Additional costs
I am aware that, in addition to team registration fees, there often are additional costs associated with participation in the Brockville Legion Track and Field Club, depending upon athlete goals. These extras may include but are not limited to:
*Athletics Canada/Ontario Membership fees
*
Invitational Meet entry fees (these vary depending on the meet and could be
between $10-25 per event)
* Travel/accommodations/food for meets
* Track and Field specific footwear (spikes or throw shoes)
* Purchase of a club singlet is required ($25)
* Team clothing is optional

I hereby consent to my/my son/daughter’s image being used in club social media and website postings.
FINAL RELEASE/ WAIVER/ INDEMNITY:
I hereby consent to my/my son/daughter’s full participation in the Brockville Legion Track and Field Club during the 2025 fall season, including opportunities for practice/training and competition both indoors and outdoors, and I knowingly and willfully accept all risks inherent with participation in the sport of track and field. I hereby release/discharge/indemnify the Brockville Legion Track Club and all coaches, volunteers, members, or representative from any and all liability, damages, losses, or injuries, however caused. I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agreed to this waiver.
By signing below, I grant the registrar for Brockville Legion Track Club permission to enter myself/my son/daughter in meets and to complete blanket waivers required by Athletics Ontario. I acknowledge that I am responsible for covering the meet entry fees if required by the club, regardless of who completes the entries.
