Throwing together to honour our friend and coach Bruce Pirnie.
We're hosting a mini Legends of the Plains in memory of Bruce.
Everyone is welcome to join us.
There will be throwing, BBQ and sharing of memories of our friend and coach.
In true Bruce fashion, as he did for his 60th birthday, just a few years ago, this is a sanctioned event so that those who throw (and are members of Athletics Manitoba) can have their results count in the rankings and for some as Provincial and potentially National records!!
The "entry fees" will help cover the costs to host everyone, including rental of the facility, sanction fees and good and beverages. For those throwing, the fee is set at $10/person. For those volunteering and attending, the fee will be a donation only.
