Are you a passionate community run leader looking to make a real difference in the lives of recreational runners?
Introducing the interactive Road Running Leader coaching course!
The goal of this course is to equip community run leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools to empower recreational runners to achieve their goals.
What to Expect:
Practical Insights: Gain hands-on coaching experience that you can apply on the track and road.
Theoretical Foundations: Deepen your understanding of the science and art of running, enhancing your ability to guide others.
Technical Training: Discover the key techniques and strategies for effective coaching success.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Embody the qualities of an effective leader.
Provide a safe environment and model safe running practices.
Understand and explain the general principles behind effective training methods for road running.
Grasp the basic technical elements of a road running program.
Understand the basics of injury prevention for runners.
Learn how to mentally prepare runners to train and race to their potential.
Adapt training for runners of all ages, identities, and abilities.
You will need a computer or tablet with a mic and webcam.
Location: online – Zoom
