Hennigar’s Farm Cross Country Challenge
Date: Saturday morning, September 23, 2023
Location: Hennigar’s Farm Market Orchard - Greenwich, N.S. (2km west from Acadia University, Wolfville, N.S.)
Eligible entrants: Grade 6 to 12 school age students.
Course Tour and Registration – 7:30 to 9:00 am
Schedule:
9:30 am – Middle School 6,7,8 – 2 km Race
10:00 am – High School 9,10,11,12 - 4 km Race.
(University 8 km races to follow at Noon and 1:00 pm.)
Race Descriptions and Rules:
Both races are mixed (M/F) having a range of ages. These two races are all individual participants only. The races are not school team competitions. The focus of the challenge is on each runner’s best effort regardless of ability! Audiences (parents, guardians, school coaches etc.) attending may choose to do their own informal finish line observations and results. There will be no finish line places or times. Every runner will be awarded an official race certificate at the end of the race.
All runners have to be signed in at registration (Entry Fee $10.00) by a parent or guardian or pre-registered via Athletics Nova Scotia. Runners will be given a wrist stamp to confirm proper registration prior to their race.
