This is an event specific course that teaches a more in-depth technical analysis for one event group and how to plan a season. Coaches can sign up for either sprints, endurance, jumps, or throws (including para- throws).
It is ideal for the school coach, club coach, or parent who is coaching intermediate level athletes at the high school (U18) level and would like to learn more about a specific event group rather than all events.
Both days of the course will take place at the Homburg Centre at Saint Mary's University. The theory portion of the course will take place on Saturday, April 13th, while the practical/technical component will be on Sunday, April 14th. The technical component will be hosted outdoors, please be prepared for colder weather. Both days are scheduled to run from 9:00am till around 4:00pm depending on time it takes to move through material.
