The current and former athletes of the Flying 'M' Athletic Club, along with Coach Tanner's family, are pleased to announce the renaming of the Flying 'M' Fall Frolic to the George Tanner Memorial Classic.
Coach George passed away in May 2017, but his legacy in the sport of Track and Field lives on. It lives on through all that had the priveledge of experiencing George's passion. The athletes, coaches, parents, and community members across the country learned from George. We not only learned about the sport of Track and Field, but about making a difference.
The Frolic was always George's meet and now it will be forever.
We are honoured to present the George Tanner Memorial Classic on Saturday December 2, 2017 at the James Daly Fieldhouse, Max Bell Centre, University of Manitoba.
Individual events are $10.00
Late entry for individual events is $15.00
All athletes must be a member of Athletics Manitoba/Athletics Canada, either as an individual or part of a registered Athletics Manitoba school.
Non-members will be charged an additional $10 Day membership, which must be paid in advance or at the meet.
