*We are currently monitoring the status of upcoming coaching courses for the month of April due to the COVID-19 situation. Until further notice, all coaching courses will continue as scheduled.*
The Sport Coach certification is for new coaches who are volunteers, teachers or otherwise actively coaching 2-3 sessions. The training for this course is general and introductory across all event disciplines in Athletics. The main focus of this course is to build on the FUNdamentals of Run, Jump, Throw and Wheel.
*Includes the new "Foundations of Coaching Athletics"Â section
- Current member of Athletics Ontario or other provincial branch or Athletics Ontario
You will be required to complete before being Certified:
- Make Ethical Decisions (3 hours and the online evaluation)
