Ottawa Lions Varsity Spring/Summer Track and Field Membership.
This page is dedicated for those who are returning from a varsity program outside Ottawa.
Coaching & technical leadership from qualified coaches.
Access to excellent outdoor and indoor facilities and equipment.
All Facility training fees are included during designated training hours.
Summer recreational or competitive membership fee for April to August.
Competitive - Makes you eligible for the entire outdoor season. Facility fees covered, club insurance and contribution to equipment and coaching development. AO/AC number renewed, for all statistics to be verified in Athletics Canada database, eligible for Provincial and National team selection, carding and quest for gold. Entries covered for AO championships along with subsidized travel costs. National Championship entry and accommodations covered if standard is achieved (subsidized costs if not achieved).
Recreational - For athletes who have established themselves in the sport over the past 3 years but will not compete during the outdoor season due to work, school or injury (this is not a casual membership). Facility fees covered, club insurance and contribution to equipment and coaching development. Athletics Ontario and Athletics Canada membership is not included and you will not be eligible to compete in events outside Ottawa Lions home events, Ottawa Lions will accept entry to home meets. If you wish to compete at Provincials and Nationals (and any other sanctioned meet in Canada), you must be registered as a competitive member.
