Join Athletics Ontario at the Bruce Kidd Fieldhouse at the University of Toronto on the afternoon of Saturday, May 13, 2023, for an entertaining, insightful and enlightening conversation with three celebrated Canadian middle-distance runners.
Bruce Kidd, Harvey Mitro, and Jerry Bouma each bring a depth of experience, insight, and most importantly - great stories! Together, they cross three decades of high level competition, differing circumstances, and unique challenges - and all with a deep passion for the sport, and how it dramatically impacted their lives and shaped who they are.
Hosted by 2020 Olympian, former national record holder, and emcee extraordinaire Kate Van Buskirk, the afternoon will include readings from their respective published books, followed by a casual reception to mix, mingle and reminisce.
