Few races can match the prestige of the Boston Marathon. It's served as the battleground for the best of the best, the goal of almost anyone who has attempted the 42.2 and the race that your relatives will ask you about if you've ever shown any interest in running at all. In a time when the term has been thrown around fairly loosely, the Boston Marathon is truly legendary, and a race that transcends far beyond the running world.

When the runners toe the line on Monday April 20th, Kingston's own Dylan Wykes will be there, ready to put out his best effort . Dylan, currently has the second fastest Canadian Marathon of all time, has been to the Olympics, the World Championships, but this, the Boston Marathon, will be a first for him. With so many factors out there, like the now open Rio 2016 Qualifying Window, the much talked about Jerome Drayton Canadian marathon record and a now healed stress fracture from last fall, this will be a race to watch, and Dylan a racer to watch.
