Breakthroughs...they're what we live and train for in sport. They can be years in the making, the fruit of consistency, or they can come relatively quicker, perhaps a reaction of realizing a different part of training. Either way, the feeling that comes from reaching that next level is one that we chase, and one that is made of pure elation. On this week's show, we chat with 2 runners who have recently had big breakthroughs: Corey Bellemore, training out of Windsor, became the latest Canadian to break 4 in the mile going 3:57 in Boston last weekend, and Colin Fewer, a newly minted master out of Newfoundland has handled adversity in the form of injuries and an invasive surgery, but at 40, he just ran an amazing 66:53 at the houston half.
