"Vikes on the Mic" is the show where we chat with current and former members of the University of Victoria Vikes XC and track team. Three current Vikes distance runners, Chet Georzen, Josh Kozelj, and Matt Noseworthy, are stoked to be your hosts. In this episode, we welcome our first ever guest on the show, UVic VIkes Men's XC/Track Team Captain, Tim Longley.

Tim is a 3rd-year Vike from Kentville, Nova Scotia, who studies commerce and specializes in the 1500m. This past indoor season, he was ranked 4th in USports in the 1000m, finished 5th in the 1000m at USPORTS Championships, and was a member of the Vikes 4x800m relay squad that won the Canada West Championships and finished 2nd at USPORTS Championships. This outdoor season, he has clinched new PBs in the 800m (1:53), 1500m (3:50), and mile . On top of that, he's a 2-time USPORTS Academic All-Canadian. Check out the episode to find out about TIm's transition from Nova Scotia to Victoria, his progression over the years, his goals, his favorite eats, and more!
