Brockville Road Runners – Event Participation Waiver
Participant Acknowledgement
I confirm that I am physically fit, properly trained, and able to participate in this running event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before participating if I have any medical condition, injury, or concern that could affect my safety.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in this event involves inherent and non-inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, contract with other participants, road or trail hazards, weather conditions, heat or cold exposure, dehydration, traffic, course defects, and the acts or omissions of other particpants, volunteers, officials, spectators, contractors, and organizers.
I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation in this event, whether those risks arise before, during, or after the event.
Minors
If the participant is under 18, this waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who acknowledges and accepts these terms on the minor’s behalf.
Photo and Media Release
I consent to the use of my name, likeness, voice, image, and event performance in photographs, video, and other media for event-related promotional or informational purposes without compensation.
