Why is a club Hy-tek license from Ontario being used to report a National championship meet held in Quebec. Is that not against the rules for use?

Results were probably done by an Ontario-based group, software is licensed to a laptop, laptops can move. No problem.

A timing contractor must pay $1000 a year for the right to time at any track. A club license is bought once and to be used at the club's home track for meets the club puts on. The Lions have been a timing contractor for 22 years in every way but name using Hy-Tek for 20 years and MEET MAN F before that. The software is not licensed to a computer but to a group. You can have several versions of the license on one computer and switch between the licenses easily. People who charge thousands to time a meet and those who hire them shouls be following the rules.

Ottawa Lions often provides Photofinish services in Quebec meets.
