Even sadder to see McMaster, with it's excellent indoor and outdoor training facilities in 21st!

I really can't believe ANY paid program loses to any non paid program. How does this happen?

You do know that FISU XC was run the same weekend as CIS, right? For a school near the bottom of the final rankings, having one of their mid/long distance studs unavailable for the CIS meet will make a significant difference.

Well there are zero field facilities, so that kinda cuts down on events. And they have never really had much in the way of sprinting other than Hutchinson for a few years. Quote comment -

While I think it's not very nice to be picking on one school, I admit I am a bit puzzled. What happened to McMaster in the 4x800 relay?

Rankings indicate they ran 7:40 on a flat track during the season, so a top 6 finish should have been a very realistic goal. -

darlington ran at OUs for them, not at CI's and Tweedle looked pretty rough after the 1000m.. so maybe he was feeling the effects of that during as well Quote comment -

Also by the logic of the conversion factors, they should have got a bronze medal since apparently 7:40 = 7:33 on a bank....?? I think this year showed very clearly that running in lane one banked in a 4x800 does not give you a 7 second advantage Quote comment
