This meet is open to athletes from any club/ school teams (high school or elementary). An early opportunity to get in some competition marks.
100, 200, 400 will be separated into different age categories with awards offered for various youth ages.
There is also an INVITATIONAL 3000 m RACE for *High School athletes only* Invitations will be posted on our instagram the weekend of April 13-14 and you can DM us for special registration instructions. There will still be an Open 3000, separate from the invitational.
Second prep meet is being held on SATURDAY MAY 4. Sign up at www.trackie.com/event/TETC-May4
The meet will provide an early season prep meet or season opener in a variety of track and field events. Events will be OPEN for the most part with heats based on seed times. All jumpers and throwers will receive six attempts.
Events Offered:
TRACK- 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 3000 m, Racewalk
Sprint Hurdles
FIELD- Javelin, Shot put, Discus, Hammer, Long jump, Triple jump , High Jump
Note that hurdles will be for U14 and older only. This location tends to be windy and so scissor hurdles for younger ages cannot be used as they will blow over.
9:15 am warm-up time.
Anticipated 10:00 am start. Meet to be concluded by around 4:00 pm with possible exception of hammer throw.
Tentative schedule included in Technical package. Final schedule to be determined based on entry numbers.
