This short 2-hour session will provide an introduction to the basics teaching shot put, discus and javelin. This session is designed for school or club coaches with little or no previous experience coaching the throws and will provide a foundation of how to teach a beginner and common errors to watch for.
The session will be facilitated by Kirk Jessome - throws coach of Dalhousie University, and coach of multiple Team Canada throwers.
