OPHEA Secondary School Teacher-Coach Clinic
This six hour course covers the At-Risk Athletics disciplines: Sprints & Hurdles; Endurance: Steeplechase and Cross Country; Throws: Shotput, Discus, Javelin; Jumps: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault.
The Clinic is facilitated by a Athletics Ontario Facilitator and features Video, small group sessions covering the best Coaching risk-management techniques, Coaching for skill acquisition, Rules, video and hands-on demonstrations. At the successful conclusion of the Clinic, Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion - Secondary.
The Clinic is in-class and gym/track depending on weather. Come dressed to be active.
Lunch will be provided and is included in your Clinic Cost.
Clinic begins at 9:00am - 3pm
