A reminder:
At the NSSAF provincial championships, we will continue to enforce our "scratch" rule. If an athlete who has qualified for an event at the Championships does not make a competitive effort or does not show up for the event, they will be removed from subsequent events at the Championships, including relay team participation. An athlete may be medically exempted from one (or more) events at the Championships with proper documentation provided to the appropriate track or field referee in advance of the final call of the event. Alternate athletes who become eligible due to withdrawal by another athlete are not required to compete and would be exempt from this requirement.
